Vintage Bridal Themed Shoot

Preeti Woman recently collaborated with Syl Ojalla, Berkshires well renowned and sought after photographer and the stunning up and coming model, Caroline Bruhn, to create a stunning bridal themed shoot. It was a fab day shooting at Syl’s Windsor based studio and we were also lucky enough to take a few shots outside as the weather was on our side.

Syl has had an interest in photography from the age of 11. He has an eye for capturing very creative and stunning shots, which brings out the beauty in all his work. His extensive years of experience has enabled him to work in fashion, beauty, weddings, and commercial shooting and he has recently just launched his first photographic book Brick Lane.

The first look was a Vintage inspired theme with very minimal and natural makeup. The hair was lightly curled and left down. A head-piece was added to add that little bit of glam. The effortless look, as I like to call it.

The 2nd look was an adaptation of the first look, going slightly stronger on the eyes and adding a bit of colour to the lips and cheeks. Still sticking to the vintage theme, I played around with accessories, firstly adding a fascinator, followed by a veil to get a traditional elegant bridal look. For the hair I created some volume on the crown of the head and put the rest up in a low bun with curls.

The 3rd look I decided to go stronger on the makeup creating a much more smokier eye, working with deep purples and mauves as well as a strong lip. The more modern, edgy bridal look of today.

Here are a few behind the scenes shots of how the day went.
